Electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure company Connected Kerb has continued to increase its numbers with the news Stephen Rennie and Richard Turnbull are joining the management team.
Both are taking on roles in key growth areas for the company, with Rennie appointed as head of sales for Scotland. He joins the company from SWARCO, where he led business development for EV charging infrastructure at its Evolt brand across Scotland.
Turnbull has been appointed as head of wireless charging solutions, joining the company from the London Electric Vehicle Company. This follows Connected Kerb announcing in January that it will rollout wireless charging technology in London, the Midlands and Scotland in the first half of 2020.
In November, the company also signed a partnership with induction technology specialist Magment to help rollout wireless charging across several public sites, including residential spaces, car parks and taxi ranks.
The company has now had five new members join its ranks over the last year as it continues to grow its operations. This includes the appointment of Chris Pateman-Jones as CEO in November, with the goal of “driving growth and long-term value” in low emission vehicles and multi-modal transport.
Pateman-Jones welcomed both Rennie and Turnbull as “significant appointments for Connected Kerb in key areas of our business”.
“They are both well-established in the industry and will be instrumental additions to our team as we seek to expand our network across the UK. We are incredibly excited that have made the decision to join us.”
