A report out today has suggested significant savings could be made from an energy efficiency feed-in tariff, but without funds available from central government this potential will likely remain unproven. While funnelling money into building up renewable generation capacity and large projects attracting foreign investment, energy efficiency remains part of a demand side issue not being addressed by the Department of Energy and Climate Change.
