This year will see the launch of Clean Energy News’ inaugural awards ceremony, and entries are now open for a host of categories.
The awards will build on the successful Solar Power Portal Awards which will be hosted for a fourth successive year in October. The two events will be co-located and held during Clean Energy Live on Wednesday 5 October at the NEC Hilton Metropole.
Clean Energy News can also confirm that this year’s ceremony, sponsored by Trina Solar, will be hosted by renowned stand-up comedian Jimmy Carr.
The Clean Energy Awards have been designed to celebrate successes in the energy management, storage and renewable heat sectors.
This year’s award categories for both the Solar Power Portal and Clean Energy Awards include:

- Clean Energy Contractor of the year
