UK-based electric vehicle (EV) smart charging provider, EO Charging (EO), has adopted the chargepoint installation platform created by Jumptech to support the launch of its new generation of EV chargers – the EO Genius 2 and the EO Mini Pro 3.
The software platform is designed to simplify the installation process for EO’s home and SME fleet customers, who will also be able to benefit from a fully-managed end-to-end service.
EO have said that the ease of communication offered by Jumptech’s software with regard to information on property and desired install details, as well as order status, will enhance their customers’ installation experience.
The network of EO’s approved installation and distribution partners will automatically be notified by the platform when they are assigned jobs. Following the notification the software will then guide them through the required process, simultaneously unlocking live updates, performance statistics and job competition data.
EO’s automotive partners will also have access, allowing them to tailor a bespoke installation journey for their customers.
The platform will be available to EO customers and partners across the UK, New Zealand and Australia.
Tom Pollard, head of EO’s distribution sales division praised the partnership in a comment: “Jumptech’s platform allows us to deliver a seamless end-to-end experience to the wide range of businesses and EV drivers adopting our new generation of products – as well giving our installers and distribution partners the tools to provide a high-quality service.”
EO has continued to grow throughout this year, as well as being shortlisted for Chargepoint Manufacturer of the Year (Domestic) 2022 at the Electric Vehicle Innovations and Excellence Awards.
Jumptech meanwhile has expanded at pace throughout 2022, signing partnerships with RAW Charging, Sevadis, ScottishPower, Hypervolt and YESSS EV & Energy.
It has also expanded into the Netherlands this year thanks to a partnership with chargepoint installer VEBE, building on its expansion into Australia in 2021 via a partnership with charging specialist EVSE.
Beyond this, it has integrated its installer management platform with ev.energy’s EV owner smart charging software platform, while Indra, Easee UK, ProjectEV, TSG UK, Fulcrum, BP Pulse, Pod Point and Good Energy have all adopted the software since the company was launched in 2018.
“We’re delighted to be supporting EO as they deliver solutions for some of the world’s largest EV fleets and automotive partners who will benefit from their exciting new charge points,” added Phil Nunn, Jumptech’s founder.
