Electric vehicle (EV) fleet payment firm Mina has integrated ev.energy’s home and vehicle charging services into its platform to simplify charging for fleets, small businesses and sole traders.
The integration brings together ev.energy’s home energy usage tracking technology with the charging data already available through the Mina Driver Portal, with the platform now including the ability to track charging consumption, costs and carbon emissions by charging through certified home chargers and 80% of EVs through in-vehicle telematics.
It is also now offering the ability for drivers to automatically charge their company EVs when it’s greenest on the grid.
The partnership also provides Mina’s customers with the ability to access a holistic view of each driver’s charging data from the vehicle itself.
“By combining data from multiple sources, Mina is able to provide customers with ultimate assurances in accuracy, fraud prevention and driver experience,” said Ashley Tate, CEO and co-founder, Mina.
Currently, 180 test users are live on the joint platform using the Indra Smart Pioneer charger, with the platform to be available to other fleets, small businesses and sole traders from March 2022.
Ev.energy partnered Indra in August 2021 for the launch of the Indra Smart Pioneer, which allows drivers to earn back rewards for their smart charging.
The new integration with Mina also follows ev.energy partnering with Jumptech last year to integrate the companies’ installer management platform and smart charging software platform, with this to streamline the install experience.
