A new partnership between InstaVolt and Mina is to see the former’s electric vehicle (EV) chargers included within Mina’s Chargepass fleet offering.
Chargepass is a single RFID card which sends a monthly VAT invoice to businesses covering all charging costs for their entire fleet regardless of if this is public, home or workplace charging. This is done without requiring any app downloads or payments from the driver.
Through the Mina Fleet Portal, businesses also have a full overview of their fleet’s charging behaviour, including carbon insights.
Ashley Tate, CEO and co-founder at Mina said: “Minimising downtime while charging in public is the number one priority for fleet operators.
“Our partnership with InstaVolt now gives our Chargepass customers access to the most liked and most reliable network in the UK and further reduces the risk of drivers not being able to charge during busy periods.”
InstaVolt has almost 1,000 charge points energised or in construction, with rollout deals with brands such as Costa, McDonalds, and Booths Supermarkets.
This latest partnership follows InstaVolt opening the expansion of its Banbury EV charging hub, which saw the installation of eight new 150kW chargers, making it one of the UK’s largest EV charging hubs according to the company.
InstaVolt was recently acquired by EQT Infrastructure V fund, with EQT Infrastructure stating at the time it is committed to investing significantly to accelerate InstaVolt’s expansion of chargepoints in the UK in support of the company’s goal of rolling out 10,000 rapid EV chargers by 2032.
