Instavolt and Connected Kerb both won multiple awards, while Mayor of London was on hand to pick up the Public Transport Authority of the Year trophy at this year’s inaugural Electric Vehicle Innovation & Excellence Awards, powered by eSmart Networks.
Organised by Current publisher Solar Media as part of the EV World Congress, taking place this week, the virtual awards ceremony recognised the stellar achievements of the EV industry.
Instavolt and Connected Kerb both scooped multiple awards on the evening, with Instavolt winning Private Sector Infrastructure Strategy of the Year and Chargepoint Network Operator of the Year, while Connected Kerb took home the Best On-Street Charging award and the prize for Best New Product.
The Mayor of London and Transport for London was presented with special recognition award in the Public Transport Authority of the Year category and, receiving the award virtually, Mayor of London Sadiq Khan heaped praise on his teams for working to improve air quality in the capital.
“It’s a real honour [to win this award] and will only motivate us to go even further and even faster in the future,” Khan said.
