The electric vehicle (EV) chargepoint operator, Liberty Charge, has announced the launch of its zero-cost EV chargepoint installation service for businesses.
In partnership with its sister company and delivery partner, Virgin Media O2, the chargepoint operator will support businesses with the installation and ongoing maintenance of the chargepoints.
According to Liberty Charging, its end-to-end solution will allow businesses to identify which charging speeds are required to best serve its needs.
By ensuring chargepoints are always operational and therefore used as much as possible, the company has said it will also help businesses to increase footfall and dwell time.
“Our experience of the public sector has shown the importance of an end-to-end, ‘one-stop-shop’ offering – we recognise that businesses, like local authorities, are time-poor and need support and expertise to ensure their offering attracts customers – without causing unnecessary hassle for facilities and parking managers,” said Neil Isaacson, CEO at Liberty Charge.
“Businesses need to ensure their EV charging not only attracts customers through convenience and reliability, but that it also supports their bottom line. As a fully-funded, zero-cost service that helps businesses maximise their car park revenues – while ensuring competitive charging rates – we are ideally placed to deliver their needs.”
The announcement follows a recent partnership between Liberty Charge and the Borough of Ealing, London to install 48 on-street EV chargepoints across 12 individual locations.
Launched in 2021, the chargepoint operator is backed by parent companies Liberty Global and Zouk Capital.
