Mastervolt has appointed Renewable Energy Storage and Solutions (RESS) as its new distributor to focus on the solar PV and storage market across the UK and Ireland.
The deal will see RESS distribute Mastervolt’s power storage and grid-connected solar products. The partnership will focus on supplying products for residential PV storage – an area that the companies believe will experience rapid growth over the coming years.
RESS is headed up by Mastervolt UK’s former general manager, David Craig, with the company’s former technical solar sales manager, Richard Batty, operating as Craig’s partner at RESS.
Commenting on the new partnership, RESS’ David Craig said: “The PV market in the UK is searching for smart and high quality storage solutions. However, it is difficult to find experienced partners. With Mastervolt’s experience and proven quality products, we will be able to offer a complete system solution for the PV market, becoming a major player in this fast growing business.”
