Business fleet drivers using Paua’s electric fuel card solution will now be able to access over 250 chargepoints operated by Osprey.
Under the arrangement, drivers can use the electric fuel card solution to find, charge and pay for electric vehicle (EV) charging, with all costs centrally billed, therefore enabling the fleet manager to control public charging use.
The roaming partnership has been implemented through a technical integration between Paua’s platform and Osprey’s own back-office.
“We are delighted to be working with Osprey as we share a common ethos of collaboration and decarbonisation,” said Paua managing director Niall Riddell.
Current± recently caught up with Riddell to discuss what sets Paua apart from other EV apps and the company’s plans for rolling out its solution “more aggressively”.
This latest deal follows Paua signing a roaming agreement with Mer earlier this year. The company has also recently successfully trialled a plug & charge solution designed to work with all cars and chargepoints and is working with GenGame and Evergreen Energy to develop a Home & Roam charging solution.
Osprey, meanwhile, has roaming agreements with the likes of NewMotion as well as being part of Octopus Energy’s Electric Juice network.
In May, it was announced Osprey would fully fund, install and operate 175kW Tritium chargers under the Shell Recharge brand having been chosen as Shell’s preferred partner for installing EV charging at all of its UK franchised forecourt sites.
