Paua has agreed contracts to provide electric vehicle (EV) fleets with access to 10,000 chargepoint connectors across the UK.
This makes the EV charging network the largest business roaming network in the country, according to the company.
Chargepoint brands now in Paua’s network now include the likes of Osprey, Fastned, IONITY, Connected Kerb, char.gy and Mer.
This allows fleet drivers to access chargepoints across these networks via a single app and EV charge card.
Currently, Paua provides access to over 5,600 UK connectors, with the next 5,000 due online in the coming weeks. Once complete, the network will include 3,000 rapid charging connectors
The new milestone follows an oversubscribed pre-seed round in January, which was led by Seedcamp and also saw participation from Speedinvest, Octopus Ventures and angel investors, including former directors from RWE, OVO and SSE.

Founded in 2020, Paua is focused on providing fleets with seamless access to public charging through a single interface for organisations and fleets to pay for EV charging, obtain receipts and claim VAT refunds, helping to remove the logisitical challenges of EV charging for businesses.
Last year, Paua trialed a plug and charge solution designed to work with all cars and chargepoints, which the company described as the future of EV charging.
This solution would remove the need for apps, charge cards or admin to begin a charge, therefore making it easier for drivers to charge.
