Smart energy manufacturer Energeno and heat battery manufacturer Sunamp have partnered on a ‘free’ hot water system for domestic renewable energy generators.
Using Energeno’s Optimmersion system and Sunamp’s heat storing batteries, owners of renewable energy systems can divert the electricity they are producing to produce hot water, even if they do not have an immersion tank installed.
“Sunamp has proven the effectiveness of its heat batteries in saving money for homeowners, in both the private and public sector housing markets,” said Andrew Bissell, CEO, Sunamp. “The Energeno products complement the heat battery perfectly and Sunamp are delighted to be working with Energeno in bringing together a proven, energy efficient solution which will bring significant energy savings to homeowners.”
“Energeno has enjoyed considerable success by building a comprehensive ecosystem of products and services that gives installers the range of energy storage, intelligent switching, control and remote monitoring solutions that they need in today’s market,” said Mark Elliott, CEO, Energeno. “We are delighted to have teamed up with Sunamp to bring free hot water to the 50% of homes which do not have hot water tanks for the first time.”
Sunamp will be exhibiting at Solar Energy UK on stand P45.
