The government's £450 million Boiler Upgrade Scheme is yet to deliver increased demand for heat pumps, according to a new survey from the Ground Source Heat Pump Association (GSHPA).
Environmental levies should be moved off of electricity bills to make sure it's always cheaper to run a heat pump than a boiler according to business and civil society groups.
The CCC's landmark report has been broadly welcomed by the energy sector, who told Current± they commended the ambition but more concrete guidance is still needed for the sector.
