EVBox has launched the Everon Business Portal, offering real-time insights into charging station health, charging patterns and energy consumption of electric vehicles (EVs).
The platform is targeted specifically at fleet and site managers, with an aim of allowing them to make better-informed decisions and optimise their EV infrastructure based on data insights.
The company said that currently, fleet managers have a limited overview of their fleet’s energy consumption and charging stations’ performance. It also pointed to how site managers “lack control of their power supply” as well as their charging ports and parking supply, adding that the Business Portal will provide the tools to overcome these issues.
The Business Portal works with any hardware that is OCPP compliant and Everon has already integrated with EVBox, Alfen, ABL, BTCPower and Schneider Electric.
Joeri Kamp, CSO of EVBox, said the Business Portal is a “place where data and decisions come together”, helping to make “managing EV infrastructure easier”.
“The insights into charging data provided by Business Portal help decision-makers control their charging network, minimize the total cost of ownership, and maximize the efficiency of their charging stations.”
In early 2020, EVBox unveiled new ultra-fast electric vehicle (EV) chargers, with the EVBox Troniq 100, which has an output of up to 100kW, as well as the redesign of its 350kW high-powered charging EVBox Ultroniq, revealed.
It snapped up a new contract with The Mobility House in August of last year, providing the company with vehicle-to-grid chargers (V2G). It opened a new factory in 2019, allowing it to focus on R&D for technologies such as V2G.
