UPDATE – 9 April 2020 – Following the COVID-19 pandemic, Solar Media has now postponed the EV World Congress until 3 – 4 November 2020.
Current± publisher Solar Media is delighted to announce the launch of the EV World Congress, a two-day exhibition and conference highlighting global innovation within the electric vehicle ecosystem.
Held in Bristol between 29 – 30 April 2020, the EV World Congress will bring together the global EV industry to share their respective visions for a decarbonised road transport system.
More than 400 attendees and exhibitors will come together to create an international community of EV innovators, and the inaugural EV World Congress will provide world leading solutions to future charging infrastructure, managing the transition of global fleets to electric, and the energy transition needed to support EVs.
“The EV World Congress is the only event in the UK dedicated to bringing international innovation and global game changers to the UK to inspire, educate and connect with their UK and European peers and colleagues.
“We asked the industry what was missing from the EV event landscape and universally the answer was that they wanted a global perspective,” Matthew Wallhead, portfolio director at EV Media, said.
“They need to break out of the UK echo-chamber with fresh insights from world leading organisations, to build game changing international connections and to truly understand what the future of EVs will be from the leading minds in EV development. Your customers are attending to seek inspiration and invest in solutions that will turn their EV visions into reality.”
The two-day event will feature an exhibition showcase with dedicated zones for charging infrastructure, energy storage, fleet management and OEMs, while conference sessions will include best practice talks from participants active in the Asian, North American and European markets.
The event will also coincide with the inaugural EVIEs, Solar Media’s new Electric Vehicle Innovation and Excellence Awards. A total of 19 awards will be won during a night that will celebrate the marked success the nascent EV market has made.
The nominations window for the EVIEs is open now and closes 22 November 2019. Companies are strongly encouraged to submit their nominations now to avoid any disappointment.
