Ex-Climate Group boss Mark Kenber has stepped in as interim CEO at independent energy firm Mongoose Energy following a management reshuffle late last month.
Clean Energy News can reveal that Kenber, who was named managing director of Mongoose’s supply business in June last year, is to take the reins on an interim basis with former chief exec Jan-Willem Bode stepping down from the role.
Kenber was one of a number of hires Mongoose attracted last year as it looked to build on its successful community energy deployment with the launch of a supply division.
Mongoose acquired a full energy supply licence from Ofgem in 2015.
However plans to launch that supply division in 2016 never materialised, and CEN now understands that this is pencilled in for the coming months.
Mongoose had yet to respond to requests for comment at the time of publication.
