Flexibility aggregator Limejump has strengthened its leadership team and boosted its headcount as it prepares to scale-up its operations.
The self-styled technology utility has promoted Joe McDonald, previously head of business development, to the role of VP of sales. His promotion comes three years after he first joined the firm and will see him take on responsibility for maintaining and growing Limejump’s sales revenue.
Meanwhile the firm has also made a raft of new hires with added growth in mind.
Chris Fisher is to join the firm in the New Year as head of products. Joining Limejump from Centrica, Fisher’s responsibilities will include product strategy.
Machine-learning expert Andre Stochniol also joins, and Limejump said it was making new hires to work across all departments with a particular focus on software engineers.
Erik Nygard, chief executive at Limejump, said the firm was excited about the next stage of its growth and reserved particular praise for McDonald.
“It is truly exciting to be able to give people greater responsibility and hence the promotion of Joe is really a testament to the type of culture we want to scale here at Limejump,” he said.
