Lord Bourne creates DECC policy confusion

Lord Bourne has sparked fresh concerns over the future of domestic energy efficiency policy after revealing an able-to-pay scheme to replace the Green Deal is not likely to be in place until after the introduction of the new ECO scheme in 2017/18.

In addition to this potential bombshell for the supply chain that grew around the Green Deal, Lord Bourne draw approval from thre renewables sector after contradicting his colleagues and admitting he did not see a link between government subsidy and fuel poverty.
