Altilium has begun constructing its at-scale EV battery recycling facility, which will have integrated chemical refining capabilities, located in Plymouth, Devon.
Clean technology firm Altilium has collaborated with the UK Battery Industrialisation Centre (UKBIC) to create the UK’s first EV battery cells using recycled cathode active materials (CAM).
The Faraday Institution and the US National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) will jointly explore projects to improve high-capacity batteries in addition to battery material recycling for usage in electric vehicles (EV).
