The Low Carbon Contracts Company (LCCC) has announced that 130 contracts for difference (CfDs) have been signed following the most recent allocation round (AR6).
Wind farms paying back through the Contracts for Difference (CfD) scheme due to high power prices could now pay back £25 to each household from this October.
All of the contracts awarded as part of the most recent round of the Contracts for Difference (CfD) auction have now been signed and returned to Low Carbon Contracts Company (LCCC).
Around £39,222,407 is to be returned to electricity suppliers through the Contracts for Difference (CfD) scheme, the first quarter in which this has occurred.
