Ofgem has announced new plans to improve the financial health of energy suppliers in an effort to avoid company failures on the scale seen over the last year.
Both Ofgem and the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) have set out a number of recommendations for network operators, as their reviews find service was “unacceptable” during Storm Arwen.
UK Energy Incubator Hub Ltd has been issued with a provisional order by Ofgem for failing to ensure customer service arrangements and processes are “complete, thorough and fit for purpose”.
