The Energy Price Guarantee announced by Prime Minister Liz Truss as part of a package to help mitigate the UK’s ongoing energy crisis could cost as much as £140 billion.
In a bid to mitigate the rising costs of gas and fossil fuels and support the energy transition, the National Infrastructure Commission (NIC) and Climate Change Committee (CCC) has written to Liz Truss advocating for the expansion of renewables.
