Indra has partnered with ElectriX, a one-stop shop for EV ownership from LV= General Insurance, to be its exclusive electric vehicle (EV) home charging supplier.
With this collaboration, ElectriX will offer its customers EV leasing and insurance services with Indra’s home charging package.
Leighton King, chief commercial officer at Indra, said: “Our product will play a key role in demonstrating how easy and convenient EV ownership can be, which is a natural fit with the ElectriX customer-centric philosophy.”
ElectriX has selected Indra “for its ability to provide best-in-class software, hardware and customer service”, said the company.
Indra’s Smart PRO charger allows EV drivers to charge their vehicles during off-peak times when electricity is the cheapest.
The charger has incorporated other features that would allow the possibility to have a personal charging schedule, compatible with solar charging and automatic software updates.
In a partnership with ev.energy, Indra had launched its Smart Pioneer charger in August 2021 claiming it was the “world’s smartest EV charger” at the time.
