Increase in grant funding saw BUS applications rise 84%

Ofgem, the UK energy regulator, has released its annual report on the boiler upgrade scheme (BUS) showing that 23,875 vouchers were redeemed from its launch until the end of March 2024.

Early announcement of gas boiler ban needed alongside Boiler Upgrade Scheme to hit government targets

The Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) – which opened today – will not be enough to ensure the UK reaches the government’s heat pump installation target, with the early announcement of a ban on new gas boilers imperative.
