Five local authorities in the Midlands are set to install electric vehicle (EV) chargers in areas with limited off-street parking, courtesy of almost £1 million in government funding.
The government has announced £20 million for electric vehicle (EV) innovation and £92 million for technologies such as energy storage and floating wind.
The UK will need to install public electric vehicle (EV) chargepoints five times faster than the current rate over the next decade, with government tenders recommended to support this.
