UK wind generation surpassed 20GW earlier this week according to National Grid, hitting a new record for the second week in a row.

Wind generation hit a new record on 26 October with 19.936GW being generated across the UK, the National Grid ESO said.

Fossil fuel generation has more than halved over the last decade, hitting a new record low in 2020.
