Utility Octopus Energy has launched ‘Project Mercury’, an alliance established to set global standards for the integration of clean technologies with smart energy systems.
Britain’s largest electricity supplier, Octopus Energy, has partnered with southern England housebuilder Thakeham to deliver 'Zero Bills' homes, days after setting a target of 100,000 such properties by 2030.
In a move that it says will “transform the housing market”, utility Octopus Energy will work with housing construction companies to target 100,000 ‘Zero Bills’ homes by 2030.
