An expansion of the Rapid Charging Fund (RCF) to cover all road transport could deliver enough capacity for en-route Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) charging and hydrogen re-fuelling at up to 78% of motorway service areas in England.
Motorway service company Moto and GRIDSERVE have launched 24 high-power electric vehicle (EV) chargers in three different charging hubs located in Exeter, Burton-in-Kendal and Swansea.
GRIDSERVE and Moto have opened a first high-powered electric vehicle charging hub in Wales, the first in the country according to the companies, as they continue their UK wide rollout of sites.
